Preference for Aesthetic Principles in Dance

In this study, aesthetic preference in dance is investigated from the perspective of dancers and non-dancers. We assumed that for golden ratio, good continuation, symmetry has an advantage over works do not have embedded principles, would be mostly general dependent on viewer's level education. Photographs video clips were used, some which had principle did not. A questionnaire was used to gauge participants' opinions along dimensions liking, impact, excitement. The results suggest people like it more when they perceive these principles than not, quality responses does depend artistic qualifications. Furthermore, turns out if goal greater impact or excitement, appropriate incorporate ratio into choreography. Good continuity are likely cause a sense pleasure excitement audience.
